If you mean foundation wise it's Big Bill France.

If you mean racing wise, it's Dale Earnhardt. The Man in Black. The Intimidator.

raymond parks was like a godfather because he lent money to bill france in the early days so he would be able to pay purses. that is what a good godfather  would do.

Bruton Smith, without him in Nascar's back pocket, I don't know where the sport would be. He plays an important role but I can't shake the bad feeling I get when I hear his name.

Don't know enough about Nascar but i do know that the biggest name that i know of was Dale Earnhardt.

Your original question is vague and I think people are merely stating their opinions.

You said you found Raymond Parks name somewhere.  Why didn't you just read on further to learn about him and perhaps tell us a little?
