  1. Have you ever read the bible? If you have, then you know that the writers simply wrote what god told them to write. Whether you believe or have faith, is a different topic, but would help if you hold true to what the writers wrote. When it says "god said let their be light", the writer was told by god, for our benifit, to know what exactly happened. He told the writer to write down what he is saying. The bible is a template, or manual to our life. The words came from god, but wrote by the author. God wanted us to know exactly what happened in the beginning. But, it all doesnt matter without faith. hard to have faith? Remember, events that were written in the bible never came true until recently. If it is not gods word, then how did it fortell the future, which we are now living in?

  3. It is a matter of faith, like any belief. That is important to understand. Evolution (as apposed to creationism ["Let there be light..."]), just like Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, etc. all take faith. None of them are 100% proof-supportable with factual evidence, because they deal with non-physical elements.  Every faith system is dealing with what you cannot see, touch, taste, hear, or feel.

With that understood, the Bible is the breathed Word of God. Correct, no one was around to write down exactly what God said to create the universe, but God cannot lie, so what He said He said, He must have said. (Complicated, but as I said, it takes faith.) What is in the Bible is God-inspired. Man wrote down what God told him to write. God inspired the writer through direct conversation, visions, and dreams, which the author then recorded. God gave these men the authority to speak on His behalf.

If it helps you to understand it, think of the Bible as a quote book. It is a book full of paraphrased quotes from God.

  4. I was there and I heard him... oh, wait...

  5. People like to make of stories why they were created so it could be ancient bed time story told to a three year old to get them to go to sleep. People as silly as we are decided that was a wonderful explanation so they made a religion out of the whole thing to give them a warm fuzzy at night. Some people just go so overboard about it, but I say why not just enjoy the story just for the stories sake. A good bed time story never hurt anyone I say.

  6. Well...in my opinion that's where faith comes in. If you consider yourself a Christian (God fearing person) then you would not have to hear it...because your faith in His work and what He can do will be enough to convince you. I hope you do not take this in a "wrong" or offensive manor. It is not by chance that you wake up every morning..it is God's will because He has a plan for you. God asks that you trust in him....and it is understandable that that may be hard to do because you have never seen God....and maybe he has never spoken to you personally but if you trust in Him and His power then he will show himself to you ALL DAY EVERYDAY.....It is God that wakes you up in the morning...it is God that brings you safely to your home every night and it is God that gave your mother the strength to carry and birth you...so thats's enough right there to convince me that He is real and that it is better to trust in what he says (whether you heard it or not) than to go through life questioning the person who put you here. I hope you have a great day.
