Very interesting views from Mr Doohan.

If KS#34 come back to manage Ben, can we see Mick back doing the same do you think?

Your thoughts please race fans.

  1. Jorge Lorenzo is a good rider, but he is no way in the same category as Rossi,Pedrosa or Stoner. The kid just happen to be in the right place at the right time. He should enjoy that win because i cant see him pulling another one out of his helmet any time soon especially after Arm pump surgery. with his next race on may 4,2008 he will probably come in 6Th or 7Th.

        Moto Gp is pretty much lock up with Rossi 1st and Pedrosa 2nd. Third is open for a good fight.

    Nice link ! I haven't had enough time to keep up on my reading lately and this did make interesting reading (as did the Swantz story) so I would say - like Neil;

    It would be good to see him back in the game as it were, and roll on China!

  3. Hi bro :)

    I couldn't agree more with the master :P *bow to Doohan* hehehe. To achieve the goal you need a good package, and Jorge got what he needed, that's why he is flying like a rocket, in 250cc there is no traction control and Dovizioso also said, its very easy for him to control the MotoGP bike than in 250cc, all controlled by the TC, he needs just to pull the throttle and push as hard as he can, no wonder Dovi and Jorge does a fabulous work.

    Ducati, indeed they have a problem, Stoner is having a great difficulty in the corner, Melandri suffers more, he is even saying he is only a spectator on the track. poor him... :(

    Regarding Jorge Lorenzo, Doohan is right again, before he is talking too much, he need to prove himself as good  as VR... becoming the champion... :)

  4. Hi wiggysan

    It would be great to see "The Thunder from Downunder" and "Revvin Kevin" sparring again (all be it off the track). But it looks like Mick is happy to stay in his advisory role with Honda. And its not a done deal with Kevin and Suzuki. But we can live in hope.

    The seasons turning out to be a real eye opener so far. The only things turning out a little as I predicted are: Dani being right at the sharp end, and Vale not finding the miracle cure he was hoping for with Bridgestone. I certainly didn't think that Jorge would be up where he is, and that Casey would be (relatively speaking) struggling the way he is. As for JT......I doff my hat to him. He's far exceeded my expectations. Chris Vermeulen........Get your  ****** finger out!!

    Roll on Shanghai
