I've read it and I would say that it's a good book in that it has a lot of information about Marilyn that most celebrity bios wouldn't have. It goes into great detail about her abusive childhood and failed relationships in her life. It also discusses her relationships with both John and Robert Kennedy and goes into some detail on her addiction to pills and her mysterious death. The author seemed to have put a lot of time in researching Marilyn's life and even though the book does go deep into her personal life it never seemed exploitative or lurid to me, just very detailed and informative.
