Godolphin’s Farhh to be supplemented in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown
The Godolphin owned, Farhh, will be trying his luck in the Group 1 Coral-Eclipse (British Champions Series) at Sandown to show the world that he is the one to watch out for.

The 1 mile, 2 furlong and seven yard race will take place on 7thJuly, 2012, giving the runner a chance to recover from the exertion he suffered at the Royal Ascot.
The son of Pivotal, out of mare Gonbarda, secured a placed finish in the Group 150th Anniversary of Prince of Wales's Stakes at Ascot, where he was mounted by rider, Frankie Dettori and finished third.
The four-year-old gave it his all, but missed the victory narrowly by a margin of 2 ¾ lengths, which was claimed by, So You Think. He fell half-length behind the Queen’s Carlton House, who finished as a runner-up.
Trainer Saeed Bin Suroor is optimistic about Farhh’s future and is satisfied with his current form, regarding this, he stated to the press that:
"He's still learning. We'll see what we decide to do, it's still a bit soon after his race and all options are open to him. We'll consider the Eclipse and other Group Ones."
He further added: "He's come back happy from his race and is very fresh, he didn't have a very hard race.”
The trainer stated the runner does not have a confirmed entry, and will have to be supplemented into the line-up. However, Farhh deserves it, and if he goes on to compete in the race than it might turn out to be a good decision from his connections.
If the bay colt does compete in this mega-event, chances are that he will face, Bonfire, who is under the wing of handler, Andrew Balding.
The Highclere Thoroughbred Racing-Pocahontas owned runner holds a confirmed entry in the event as Balding commented:
"He's fine, he'll be confirmed for the Eclipse next week and that is still the plan. He had a spin on Saturday and looked great."
If these runners collide, it will be an exciting race to watch. Farhh has three victories in four starts, and looks in pretty good shape while Bonfire has two victories in four starts.
