In my experience, Google's search engine is extremely better than that of Yahoo.

Google's market share is also a larger than Yahoo's.

i use both...they don't both give you the same answers.  If i can't find it on one, I go to the other.

Their engine technology & project portfolio.- their technology & what pops up when you search something. Personally I like Google's search engine, i think it organizes information better than Yahoo does. But I still love Y/A!

In the first place, it isn't goggle, it's Google, and there is a big difference between the two. Yahoo has been around for many years, Google hasn't, but has caught up with Yahoo. Personally, I think Google has the best search engine on the internet, but that's just my opinion. I've been a member of Yahoo for 10 years, and have NEVER seen it as screwed up as it has been this year. They never seem to leave it alone, and they don't fix the messes they make.

Yahoo is better.  If it's not, why are you using it?  The founders of Google made the mistake of trumpeting their politics (which they have every right to have), and therefore, I avoid Google like the plague.  Yahoo may have similar politics, but at least they're not stupid enough to express them and perhaps alienate their users.

Politics aside, Google DID have a better search algorithm, but now Yahoo uses the same one, so in that regard, they are the same.
