The basic purpose of the National Junior Circuit events is to identify potential young shuttlers and to prepare them for representing the country at international level. The junior events have always remained as a major source of talent hunt in the country.
These national junior events have discovered many great shuttlers including the World Number Three Men’s pair of Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon.
The event has already found many potential junior players including Tee Jin Yee, Goh Liu Ying, Vivian Hoo, Sanatasah Saniru, Ng h*i Ling and Woon Khee Wei. All of these shuttlers are working hard in their training sessions under the supervision of competent
coaches.
These kind of junior events have become the need of the hour to generate better shuttlers as Malaysia is suffering with a dearth of players. The country has only a few shuttlers including Lee Chong Wei, Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon, who are working well at
the international arena.
