Goin to Amsterdam on Monday...Any tips?

What's worth seeing aside from the rather famous attractions?

Is it an expensive city??

How much does it cost to go clubbing etc? ie how much is a pint for example.

Also if Im only 17 will i have a problem getting into clubs and pubs?

At 17 you are legal age for beer, so some clubs will allow you, but others have a policy of only allowing older people to get a more mature crowd. So either walk around and try a few places, or just ask where you stay, they are bound to know a place or two near.

Amsterdam is not very expensive, but as I do not drink beer I do not know what it costs. But drinking all night is going to cost you a lot.

And beer is not sold by the pint but by the glass, much smaller but you get drunk from the same amount of glasses as you would in England from pints. (That is what English people tell me.)
