Question:

Goin to try ivf should i have a single child ? or twins.. i want to avoid any health risk but have more than 1?

  1. Good for you. I had one embryo implanted with IVF. I didn't hav a choice tho. My sis had 2 and is expecting twins. It is really a personal decision.

    I have been reading alot about twins for my sis. There are alot more difficulties but ultimately it is ur decision. Good luck with it all. I think ivf is such an amazing gift for us girls who cant do it ourselves.

    PS My second bub was concieved naturally. Totally spun me out.


  2. Most twins turn up OK but twins are 5-times more likely to be born premature, end up in the neonatal intensive care unit and have developmental problems. You are also more likely to miscarry with twins too.

    That's why in Europe it's illegal in many countries to make twins with IVF.
