When going out to dinner, what does it mean to "go Dutch", She pays, or they split the bill 50/50 ??

  3. Going dutch means that each person pays for half of the bill, and you work together to pay the tip. She does not pay for her bill. The only downside to going dutch is that it is not based on the price of each dish, so you can get ripped off if she buys the most expensive thing on the menu and you get something small.
