Going French may succeed against newcomers in the £32 Free At 32Red.com Maiden Stakes on 16th April,
2012
Ten runners will take the track at Wolverhampton, each one aiming to down the £32 Free At 32Red.com Maiden Stakes on 16th April, 2012.
Craniac, Going French, Petrarchan, Temple Road, Julier Pass, Pashan Garh, Sir Maximilian, Big Sylv, Jamhara and Verge will compete over 5 furlongs and 216 yards for £2,264, on a surface that has been labelled standard.
Going French, son of Frenchmans Bay, out of Easy Going, has the most experience among this line-up of runners. He secured a placed finish in his start at Wolverhampton this season. This has given him more appeal over the rest of the competitors.
He is currently trained by Dai Burchell for owner Alan Shinton, as he was trained by Barry Brennan until 21 Feb 2012,
He finished as a runner-up in the Great Offers At Wolverhampton-racecourse.co.UK Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton on 27th February, 2012.

Ridden by jockey, Sam Hitchcott, he fell 1 ½ lengths behind victor and the evening’s favourite, Mon Ami Jolie.
He may be able to use the track at Wolverhampton to his benefit and land a victory.
Pashan Garh owned by Miss Emma L. Owen is currently trained by Pat Eddery. The young runner started his career on 26th March, 2012, and delivered a fabulous performance.
The son Anabaa, out of Mimisel, finished as a runner-up in the Play Mobile Bingo With Williamhillbingo.com Maiden Stakes at Lingfield.
Coupled with jockey, Ryan Clark, the three-year-old colt raced with an unmatched fervour and finished 2 ¾ lengths after the race favourite, Valbchek.
Julier Pass, son of Catcher In The Rye, out of mare Chantarella, started his year with a respectable placed finish.
Trained by Hugh McWilliams, for owner Ms. R. Wilson, the three-year-old colt stood fifth in the Become An Annual Badge Holder Today Median Auction Maiden Stakes at Redcar on 2nd April, 2012, where he was coupled with jockey,
Gary Bartley.
He is still young and may show great progression in this race.
Craniac, Petrarchan, Temple Road, and Sir Maximilian will compete in their career maidens.
Going French looks the strongest competitor, ready to land this race. However, the young runners are not to be under-estimated, as they could spur up a surprise or two.
Pashan Garh may finish as a runner-up and Julier Pass may finish in third place.
