1. My city does trash pickup, but not out as far as I live. I will have to take it to the center. Do I seperate each kind of item they take or put them together? Like do I have to seperate each color of glass and each type of plastic?

2. Does it matter what kind of tree you plant? For example is a blue spruce less helpful than an oak or maple?

3. I love flowers and plants. Do they do any good? Can a hobby be helpful?

  1. 1.  Some places allow you to recycle the lids with metal.  You need to talk to your town to find out the regs.

    2.  That, I don't know.

    3.  Having a spider plant, for example, in your room, can help to make your room air healthier.  Plants absorb carbon dioxide and resperate oxygen.  We do the opposite.  That's a very good symbiotic relationship.

  2. *1 It is advisable to seperate plastic-non biodegradable wastes from the rest. as u like gardening, the kitchen wastes can be used as a manure for ur garden, which may also reduce ur trash troubles.

*2 u can plant fast growing trees or ur native trees[as i dont know which country u belong].

*3 i feel it is funny!trees have as many uses as the number of bones u have

  3. 1. It depends on the city - in most, I think you'd just lump the plastic and glass together and recycle paper separately.  Check with your city public works or whatevery it's called.

    2.  Any tree is better than none- I'd plant what you like and take joy in knowing it's a good thing.

    3.  Absolutely, they add oxygen and consume co2.  Certainly, a hobby can be helpful: gardening as you allude to, cycling, walking, recycling in your community.  Take charge.
