Going Green is a progressive concept that has been gaining ground for 40 years now. It is now the norm and most people don't even know it. It seems the last obstacles for an all out Green Revolution are more emotional wedge issues than

anything based on fact.

Global Climate Change is a great example; it is a win/win situation even if it is a hoax as some claim here @ yahoo answers, because any action that reduces natural resource consumption, reduces pollution, uses the technology we already have for greater energy efficiency and preserves the natural world can only be good.

What is going green? To assert any appreciable impact, you must become proactive and an advocate! Big government & big business have the really only influencial power to deal at all with this problem. Pressure, protests, proactive activities must be directed to them to underline that they are risking profit margins.

I have been "Going Green" for about 10 years now. And just thinking of the impact my own personal choices make on the planet really makes me proud.

Become a vegetarian, Dont drive as much and use envirnmently friendly products

Sheer need to go green has made it the norm and not the exception, especially in the housing industry where I work.
