I'm going for a week vacation and i have no one to take care of my hermit crabs (2 of them) and currently, their moulting. I don't know if its okay to just leave them, especially when they're moulting, and what i should prepare for them for the week. HELP!!!!!!

  1. well if they're molting it doesn't matter. Mist them good before you leave, and change their water. Give them a hideaway and your set, if your worried, buy them some vacation food that won't spoil for a week even though it isn't necessary as they eat their exoskeleton. Just have fun they'll be fine. On the slim chance that they die, don't feel bad. You did the best you can.

    Good luck

  2. why not check with your local tropical fish store/marine aquarium  to see if they will 'babysit' for them?  or they can direct you to someone who can or give you some tips.

  3. they r gonna b fine but u may wanna leave them with a close friend or family member.
