Going away party ideas?

My friend is moving to Maryland and we want to do a party for her but have no idea where to start we know who we're inviting and where it's going to be but we need ideas. There's no bbq available because nothing to cook on. Help?

Get everyone to bring a plate of munchies and as a going away present collect photos and make a collage of all your good times.It's cheap and your friend will be reminded of all you when she looks at it. If you want to frame it ask family and friends if they have and old picture frame that you spray paint her favourite colour.If not go to a thrift shop.

make a list of items that you will want for foods ex:

sandwich supplies- bread, lunch meats, PB&J, lettuce, mayo

chips and dips

soda

cups/plates/forks

cake

appetizers

then either ask people what they would like to bring or pick names from a hat about who brings what (so you don't end up with like 20 bags of chips!)

everyone meet at the park and have fun! you can all give a little going away speech. have everyone bring pictures of themselves to put into a small photo album that you can give her as a going away present- you can find those small albums at Walmart or Walgreens, even the dollar store might have them.make sure to bring your camera to take more pics of the party and bring a radio to listen to some tunes. here is a list of fun games you guys can play too http://partygamecentral.com/

everyone could bring something, each could bring their own sandwiche and drinks.

then they could choose to bring something salty or something sweet to contribute to a group table/blanket/bag for everyone to enjoy.

Well you havent mentioned how old you are... I think that the best thing to do is something small. That way you can spend some good quality time together before she leaves. Maybe you, her, and a couple of other people could go to a day spa or something and go out for dinner. =D
