My husband and I would both like to go back to school this fall, we have both done FAFSA's and we have learned of Family housing at the college. Any more advice on how to pull this off? We have a 1 year old and we need to maintain a certain amount of income but we don't want to overload ourselves with working full time, going to school full time and being parents full time. Help!

  1. You may not get housing because of the child (each school is different).

Well you can pull it off but you will go into DEBT. (As I)

Your loan money will go up as you get further in school and maxes out at 5,500. per semester (2 semesters) in Junior and senior year.

    Max undergrad is 40,000.

You can get maximum loans and work study (both of U)and that will be more than enough money for a small family to live off of and still save some money in the process.

My suggestion is live frugally and save some money for the baby's college !
