Going camping for the first time????

what do i need to know and do to prepare myself. is there activities provided or do i need to bring some? any kind of information would be helpful...

Also depends on where you go, if its a camp of some sort they should have a checklist, or if your just going with some buddies to a state park.

Just remember to BE PREPARED for the conditions that will be there

-pants(shorts if it will be warm)

-warm socks(never leave without them)

-tennis shoes or boots

WEAR NOTHING U WULD GET MAD IF IT GT DIRTY OR STAINED

-other snacks

Activities

- some campgrounds have like baseball and volleyball fields, and basketball court

-bring cards and boardgames

-bike or rollerblades

-fishing pole if  ur campground has a pond or lake

Essentials

-soap/shampoo (most campgrounds have public showers)

-tentand sleeping bag

-flashlight/lantern

Ok, You need to bring 3 more pairs of socks than however may days you are staying, me I enjoy being out of the house but when I go I go with the my boy scout troop, bring flash-light, knife, duct tape, and bug-spray, and maybe sunscreen, and a nalgene (water bottle). Have Fun!!

Where are you going?

You will need a tent, a portable stove, propane, towels, sleeping bag, pillow, food, water, wood, ice for cooler, table if not included in sight, emergency stuff, first aid/

You can swim if theres a lake or ocean, have a fire, hike

I would bring a book, games, fishing stuff
