  1. Take crayons,water paints,colouring books and crafts.

The kids in Cuba will love them as these things are not readily available over there.

You could take things in kit form or put together bags of various items yourself..Don't forget sharpeners and erasers as well....all cheap but cheerful things that we take for granted but will be appreciated by the Cuban youngsters.

  2. We are going to Cuba in July and taking pencils, crayons & paper for the kids and "sample and hotel" toiletries to leave for the cleaners

  3. As well as presents for their children, you may wish to give  the parents a book outlining democratic procedures for holding local and national elections.

  4. Children in Cuba need school supplies and clothing.  Most travellers also bring something for the hotel maids.  At your hotel tip the staff as much as possible.  They make pitiful incomes and a mittful of dollar bills will come in handy

  5. Cigars?
