Going for a certificate course in ur area of specialization can be a better option than summer training in MBA

I am pursuing my MBA and my summer training will be start shortly, but rather than going for it i want to clear some modules of NCFM conducted by national stock exchange as my area of specialization is FINANCE and for that i have to take some training classes, it will help me in placements but the problem is that if u can clear this paper than u can get a certificate and if u go for a training provided by the institute, u will get training certificate, i don't know what companies will prefer. So what will be the better option INTEREST with future or CERTIFICATE.

Certificates (other than degrees) mean very little where I work. The only thing I look at besides degrees are major certificates (CPA, CFP).
