Okay, so i'm 14, and for volunteer work, im going to be at an old folk's home/assisted living place. I'm going for an interview in a few weeks. Does anyone know what types of interview questions they might be asking me?

  1. Your basic:

What does “Volunteering” mean for you?

What do you hope to gain by volunteering?

Why are you interested in becoming a volunteer with our organization?

    What are you future goals?

    When are you available?

How would your teachers describe you?

Things like that.  Relax & good luck!

  2. They will probably be pleasant, hoping you will be a good volunteer!  They may ask what you enjoy doing, finding out what you are good at in school.  What do you hate doing?  How will you get there, will someone be driving you, or can you walk or take a bus.  They might ask if you know what patience is.  Can you be reliable, stick to a task without complaining.  I hope you will enjoy talking to the folks who live there.  Take an interest in them and they will take an interest in you.  You might need a reference some day and these people know how to say good things about you to a future school or employer.  I wish you the best!
