Going from 2000 ford mustang to 2005 300C, insurence increase?

im 18 male in CA.... right now my insurence is about $200 a month. Would it go up if i got a 06 Passat 3.6 or 05 300c? Thanks for the help...

it might because the car is newer, so its worth more.

but, the best way to find out is to call your insurance company and ask for a 'what if' quote.  just say 'i'm thinking about getting a 06 passat 3.6, how much would my insurance be?'  it will take about 5 minutes to get a new quote.

also, don't be afraid to shop around, someplace else might have a better deal on the new car!
