  1. living green is like saving the planet to me and some money. alternative fuels are somthing we have but arent using as much. i think we're too dependent on gas but we really need to start using new feuls that wont harm the enviornment. i think the electric car was an amazing idea...but everything is too expensive (as of now)

  2. Simply these three principles:

    Energy Efficiency

    Resource Conservation

Non Toxic materials (products, food, etc.)

Also, this is a great page on the Top Ten Tips to save energy at home:

    Hope this helps!

  3. After 3 years in the Army, where every thing is green, going green is not my favorite phrase.

The most sensible alternative fuel for me is electric, or Human power, all of the others are too expensive.

even though many of the lower income people cannot afford even the least expensive new electric cars, we can all afford to bicycle, or buy the inexpensive electric scooters.

Not the best in bad weather but every little bit helps.

  4. Basically using green energy sources instead of expendable energy sources. Here is a good article I came across that is related to reasons for going green.

  5. I believe going green means striving to reduce my negative impact on the earth. I reduce waste, conserve energy, reduce pesticides by buying organic food and clothing, reduce the distance my food needs to travel, by buying from a local farmers coop and growing some of my own food, conserve water, make use of what I have, reduce disposable items, recycle and buy recycled.

Alternate fuels can be anything other than oil or coal, but alternate doesn't mean renewable.

  6. To me producing my own electricity by using wind and solar power.

  7. good :)!

  8. For me it's driving an electric car! Using Hemp paper in the printer, wearing bamboo clothes and recycling....

    What about you?

BTW I found me car for under 10k brand new out of NH.

  9. I have 2 vehicles that run on natural gas (methane). I got sick of paying for gasoline and found something else. I pay 85 cents a gallon now, plus it's way cleaner for the environment. It's good to drive around and set an example instead of just talk about what everyone "should" be doing. Fun, too! That's my 2 cents...
