Hi.

I'm going into 9th grade.

I have dreams of going on to the nfl and would like some help choosing a position to stick with me.

My thoughts are cornerback, MLB, DE (OLB), for D. Then fullback or possibly runningback for O.

My stats are

Age 14

6'3 Height.

190 lbs. (Please tell me weight to shoot for with each position).

200 bench.

350 squat or so.

4.5 to 4.8(4.9) (40 time).

So I like to hit people, and my coaches call me DBJ (d**k B. Junior) lol. I play MLB last year, forget my exact stats but I was the biggest hitter on the team, and was told by many coaches from different leagues I was the best MLB in district, so I was going to just play MLB for 9th grade but some people are telling me I'd be a great runningback or cornerbacker or DE, (etc).

Thanks.

  1. Based on information given I would say your best bet would be at strong/free safety. You got speed, height, and strength that most might not have and most safeties usually undersized linebackers. You run stop more than cover at Strong Safety but if you like covering go for free safety.

  2. Sounds like the right size and strength for RB

  3. I doubt u runa 4.5 but u r tall for a freshman and still fast if u run 4.8 so WR i don't no if can catch so stick with d

  4. ur really! skinny for that tall height gain weight

no one will want a corrner that is that tall so froget that

    i could go for WR

ur bench is ok but i want to max out to at least ur weight

ur 40 time said was 4.5-4.9 thats a HUGE diffrence i will need an exact time and ur to all for RB and FB and dont have the right body type for a RB

get ur bench up if ur good eough the HS coach will put u at RB and MLB if u can handle it good luck

  5. first of all i doubt your 40 is 4.5 going into 9th grade id say at most its 4.8. your built to be a LB or a TE

  6. Keep your speed high and you should really try for WR... The NFL is lookin for those insanely tall WR these days. James Hardy out of this year's draft for example. But on defense, I would say OLB/DE or a Safety position. I'm not too sure if you would be such a "great" RB if your 40 time is close to 4.8 or 4.9.. that's just a tad slow for a RB.. but for a fullback... you have the size to be an excellent fullback...

    so... WR, FB, OLB/DE, FS/SS

  7. WR. geez ur 6'3 play basketball lol.

  8. sounds like you could be a force at any position, mlb and TE sound like your best options, but most important is how good u are at that position, not how good your stats predict you will be...if that made any sense lol

  9. well i would say DE because your really tall for your age and you seem to be strong too (and heavy....in a good way)if you like hitting quarterbacks ya i would go wit dat.but thats just my option. whatever you put your mind to you just go out their and do it.

  10. Holy $#!&    I would try maybe TE, DE, OLB, or WR.  At this point you could probably get away w/ RB but later on you would probably get moved cause of your height.  If you could get to 195 or 200 you could be a great TE, DE, or OLB

  11. i would say mlb olb or de whatever you prefer but i would go with de and just worry about putting on some strength but you wouldnt have to add too much and on offense te or wr
