Going into high school...lunch box?

I'm going into 9th grade in a few days. I hate buying my lunch...not that I can't afford it, it's just that I don't care for the food. So I bring my lunch. Is it 'socially acceptable' to bring a lunch box to high school? A paper bag would be out of the question since my mother is 'environmentally friendly'. Thanks guys! :]

well, most people dont bring a lunch box to high school (or middle school lol) but just bring a plastic bag

sure just make sure its not power rangers or one of those nerdy ones. You can also buy reusable paper bags that look like paper bags but are insulated so that you can have meat and refrigerated food for lunch. You can buy them online. Look up insulated paper bags or insulated brown bags

d**n!! lol..i was going to say paper bag..but umm i guess if its not one of those hard lunch boxes with a cartoon on it..then its ok...then again..JUST DONT CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK!!...if they can tell you care then it becomes a problem

don't worry just take your lunch with you, and everybody knows that school lunch sucks. nobody will care. at my school sometimes i used to bring my own food when i got tired of the school's, and i used to leave it in my teacher's fridge.

'course. At least where I go, then again, all high schools are different. But more 'acceptable' would be a cooler bag, you know the mini lunch carriers.

Of course. Just have a regular lunch box or bag with no design. That way it doesn't seen kinda dorky.

Sometime school lunches are very nasty. So its always nice to have something you know your going to eat.
