Going off birth control and periods?

Question

I tried asking this in women's health, but no one answered. Hopefully someone here can answer my question.

About 3 months ago I stopped taking birth control. The first 2 months my cycle was on time, but this last time I got my period a week and a half ago and yesterday, it decided to come again! I have the cramps etc., but it's not like a "normal" period....more brown. Has anyone else experienced this and is it normal? I figured it's my body trying to regulate itself, but wondering if it's something I should be concerned about. Thanks!

hello! look mine did the exact same thing! i was on the pill first 2 months came normal!! then it came again really really heavy and ohh it was horrible!! my periods have NEVER been really heavy ever in my life but now off that pill and that time they where shocking!! your healthy dont sterss
