Question:

Going off the left wake when wakboarding?

I love wakboarding, but i havnt been doing it that long, and i am rightfoot forward, and the one time i whent off my left wake, i face planted. hard. My brain hurt i hit so hard. So i need some advice on going off that wake, and can sombody please tell me why i cant master it!

  1. u have to  lean back then have all ur weight to th side ur going to go up on. trust me im a pro.


  2. also make sure you keep the rope close down by your hip and lean in the direction you want to go keeping tension on the line

  3. One quick solution is that you don't have to "open toe" to that side.  You can go to the left side of the boat with your heals towards the boat.  This is more difficult and not as easy to get speed coming back into the wake, but its a start.  If you are face planting when going to the left, then that means you are catching your front edge.  Keep your weight further back and keep the front edge elevated as you move out.  All you can do is practice and begin to feel the right location for your weight.
