Question:

Going on a Carnival Cruise, young adult (nearly 18). How do I get involved?

I'm cruising on the Carnival Liberty this New Year's. I'm 17 but will be 18 in January (just under the adult age, I know), and I'm trying to plan what exactly I'm going to do with myself. I pass easily as older than my age, and I'm more mature than most. Should I just take my chances with the more "adult" options or stick to the teen-oriented programs? What would be the advantages of each? I'm caught in the middle here...

  1. You going with someone over 21? Because carnival will not allow you in a stateroom.

  2. i am 17 pretty close to 18 as well and i went on a cruise and got to play blackjack and all the other casino games with my cousin who is 20 but still it was fun ...the teen c**p gets boring cause there usually 13-15 yr olds and still treat you like little children in daycare  ....cant drink but i had that under control lol

  3. just show up at the activities and you will become involved really quick!  Is that fun or what!  Have fun  JUST SHOW UP TO THE ACTIVITIES!!!!!!

  4. I went for my birthday on the Paradise and they had a teen disco and teen events going on during the entire ship Im sure you will have fun

  5. Um, test the waters!  Try sitting by the side of their swimming pool in a skimpy bikini, and see what happens!
