  1. no hurrican season ends in october

  2. Hurricane season is officially over October 31, so you won't have any problems. Many cruise ships visit the Caribbean during December, so expect to see many ships wherever you go.

  3. Hurricane season is over by December.  And even if it were hurricane season, you would have no reason to worry, at least as far as safety is concerned.

  4. Hurricanes aren't much to worry about.  Usually you'll have time to leave if one will strike an island if it comes to that.  The Caribbean Sea covers about 1 millions square miles so the chances you'll get hit are fairly small. The most intense winds are usually only 85 miles in diameter so that's not all that much.  Out side of that by about 300-400 miles of a hurricane are just high tides a breezy day and rain which will be gone in about a day......  New Orleans type disaster usually doesn't hit the Caribbean very often if at all.

  5. Most likely it won't be. I was on a cruise in the caribbean when Katrina hit. The waves got a little rocky, but not too bad. You should be fine. Good luck and have fun =]
