  1. One of my best friends just came back from Charlotte. She absolutley had a blast at Race World. Sent back some great pics too. She said if you go during an off week...meaning no race in town almost anyone will talk to you. She went to Kelly Earnhardts scrap booking store and she was there ...Sharon told me Kelley talked to her for almost 30 minutes. It made her week there. Hope this helps. Have fun!

  2. I'm from Charlotte so let me help you out.

If you want a good place to kill a day, go shopping, get something to eat, etc. Go to Concord Mills. Not hard to find, one of the biggest shopping malls in the united states, and its got its own exit on I-85. While you are there, there is a NASCAR cafe, and a few other auto-themed restaurants. I also reccomend Dave and Busters for a good time.

If you want to go drinking, there are a ton of places in downtown (we call it uptown) Charlotte. Just find a parking space and take your pick.

  3. 64th st thats where all the whores are

    oh see/do not pay/do

  4. def. do the camping, you meet great ppl at nascar campgrounds.  There is alot of fun stuff set up track side and near the track, you dont really have to look for other stuff. They have the dirt track that usually has world of outlaws and i think a drag strip, too, nearby. they usually have concerts, too, at the water tower behind the second turn.  I dont know how town is set up for the fall race, but for mm wknd its like mardi gras and its within biking distance, they have all the food, drink and entertainment a person could ask for and it goes really late.  usually if ya get up early you can get a ticket for autographs at some merchandise trailers, then come back like 3 hours later to meet the driver and get autograph, some just sign w/o tix and some you just need a fan club card for. if there are arca, truck, or nationwide races, id go for that, too......they are often more exciting than the sprint race. charlotte, like many tracks has a flea market area across from the track where you can haggle over prices and get some good deals.  I hope you have a great time and meet at least one of your fav. drivers!

  5. Just a short drive east is the Ashboro zoo, they have Jr. on exhibit with the rest of the monkeys...  Throw a roll of toilet paper in for him, they say he walks around down there with a t**d smeared to his left butt cheek most days.

  6. Go tour the shops if you get some time or waste $6 on a $2 beer at Jrs joint.

  7. there is no 64th street in charlotte, the prostitutes there actually hang out on wilkinson blvd.. are you a junior fan? if so, you must check out his new bar bar downtown, whisky river. there are many race shops in the area. mooresville, concord, ect.

  8. I went to the All-Star race in May. If you do the race shop tour, make sure you go to Micheal Waltrip racing and there is a little museum off of turn 4 of the track that has some cool cars in it. It looks like a used car lot but it's worth admission fee.

  9. Waxhaw, NC. Its a little hole in the wall town stranded between 4 corn fields. If you like antique shops, retro neighbor hoods, old time candy store, and home made ice cream you'll have a good time.
