=) Unfortunately my sponsor and my responsibilities allow me for only 3 days for a business meeting. Unofficially I have 24 hours free time to do what I like and go wherever I go. That's what I wanted to know. What to do and where to go...

  1. stay in the city, have nice dinner in one of he street cafes while watching people go by, you can take a boat or bus tour of the city.

  2. 24 hrs, thats too short. all you can do is to check which place is good. why not stay for three days.

  3. hi, 24 hours is really a very short time.... I would say do a city tour by tourist busses it just takes 3 or 4 hours and then try to go to Schaffhausen to see the waterfall.. it's really nice and in the evening go to Hiltl it is supposed to be the biggest vegetarian restaurant in Switzerland... and If you can't live without meat then just quit my last options and try to do the first 2... :)

  4. It-s not much time, but as a foreign that lived in Zurich for 3 years I would suggest the following

    1. walk around Banhofstrasse to see the expensive shops, don-t bother if the service is unfriendly... thats very possible in Zurich

    2. if its nice weather, ask a cab driver to take you to the Letten, it-s a place by the river close to the main station, where lots of young people hang out, have drinks, smoke pot, listen music and so on

    3. if its nice weather, take a boat trip at Zurich lake and go to Rapperswill *the city of roses, its a very old, small, charming village and there are some nice restaurants by the lake

    4. if the weather is bad, just go to the churches and museums and dont forget to eat some fondue, raclet and some rosti potatos...

    5. evening, I would chose between Kaufleuten *sophisticated clubs, you will find all swiss bankers there, kkk and Langstrasse *red light district, prostitution houses and alternative nightclubs.

    Have a good trip.

  5. short time, but you can make a trip on the lake with those boats for turists, you can visit the shops(a lot of clothes and parfumes, but not quite cheap). then you can try a trip with the special tram for the tourists that can be taken from the railway staiton(i think). and, of course, you cannot miss a club in the night. or, at least a walk in the park near the water. anyway, hope you'll have fun

  6. 24 hours is truly, a very short time to experience Zurich. However, you can check out for various activities available in this city at http://www.zuerich.com

I would advise you book a trip prior to your arrival in Zurich as that would help save some time. Also consider the airport arrival and departure formalities, reporting for the flight, check-in time and transit time from airport to hotel and back.

  7. take a tour through the city. all u have to do is go to the tourist info at the hauptbahnhof (main train station) and u can find out about all the diff tours u can do..

otherwise if u wanna do it alone or something, check out the grossmunster in the old town.. u can go up one of the towers, and look out onto the city, its really nice.

actually, theres heaps to do. its the best city in the country for nightlife and shopping. theres a lot of history there and when u get tired, u can go sit by the lake in bellevue!

    i heart zurich!

  9. You can do what the Phillippine Government had not been successful to accomplish all these years, and that is to recover the stashed money of the Marcoses in the Swiss Banks.   Use all the tricks we learned in the cloak and dagger business and clean all those bank accounts.
