Going on a camping road trip, wanna know should we take a 07 jetta volks, or 03 ford explorer??

My friend and I are trying to decide which car to take on our camping road trip. She wants to take her Jetta, and I want to take my Explorer. The jetta gets better mpg, but is smaller and less of a camping car. The explorer is more spacious and would be a better camping car. I also feel even tho the jetta is extremely safe, I feel that having a bigger car such as the explorer would be the safest route. they both have the same amount of airbags. I feel the ride would be more comfortable for our two other passengers in the explorer.

Which car do u think we should take and why??!

The Jetta is obviously the better vehicle, but with 4 up it would have to be the Ford.

Explorer..more room. Try loading 4 ppl and all you s**+* into a jetta. No offense jetta..
