  1. canned tuna-high protein for energy. Take a can opener! Protein bars/energy bars. Peanut butter. dry cereal, esp. high iron to replace meat. Nuts.

  2. Foods with protein, fat (omega-3) and vitamins (B). Buy tons of canned tuna. Tuna has lots of protein and omega-3 fats AND rich in vitamins. and it's cheap! Nuts are good too, not only will the action of picking and eating help but the protein will help. 3-4 ounces typically will help you feel more alert. And drink lots of water. It may result in more stops but your body needs it to transport nutrients all around your body.

http://www.thethinkingbusiness.co.uk/bra... this site has lots of info on foods that would be good to bring for the long drives.

Power drinks like RedBull and such are generally not good to bring too much of, because the caffeine burst will be quick and leave you feeling burnt out after.

  3. beef jerky, protein/energy bars, and dehydrated meals (available at local sporting stores like d**k's or Gander Mountain)

    Have fun!
