Does anyone know if there are ice vending machines on a cruise? (like the ones in hotels) or do you have to go to the main deck to get it? Never been on a cruise before.

  1. Just ask your room steward. Its part of their job. Ours kept our ice bucket full for the whole 10 days. They have machines in their work station which passengers are not allowed to use. I hope you have a great time.

  2. All of the cruises I have been on, and that's about 20, the cabin steward provided ice in an ice bucket in your cabin.  And if you run out and need a refill you just pick up the phone and order it from room service or your cabin steward.  The cabin steward generally has hours he/she works that may extend up to about 10:00 PM and after that he/she is off duty.  But, you DO NOT have to go get ice, unless you just want to; just order it by phone.  If you just want to go get ice, its generally available wherever the free coffee, tea, juices and lemonade is available, or from any bar that is open.

  3. i went on the carnival fun ship and they gave us our ice in our rooms after they cleaned it

  4. The cruise (carnival) I went on did... but it was kind of far from the room.
