Hi all,

I am going to take my family to the gold coast from SA at first we wanted to drive but it would be to long to go to QLD from SA so we are going by plane. They will be 4 and just about 3 so still very young.

I dont want to take a pram or car seats is their any where i can hire them and also what kind of things can i do on the plane that will keep them happy and help me not loose it.

thanks

  1. Ozmaniac is spot on, the only thing I can think to add is make sure you find out from the airlines what food they will provide on board the plane and also what you can bring on in hand luggage.  With all the new rules u don't want to lob up with a bag full of expensive food, toys & wipes etc they wont let u take onboard.  Have fun.

  2. Try http://www.hireforbabe.com.au/

They should be able to help with pram hire and anything else you may need like car seats.

Haven't travelled with little ones for ages, but books with activities (find the..., where is... that type of thing) were always useful. Oh, and try to get a direct flight if you can - get it over with in one hit.
