...seem repulsive to me and I only crave fruits?

There is nothing wrong with me, this is completely an experiment as I want to try and eat as little processed food as possible. I've already had some really massive headaches and very low energy but I think I'm gaining some ground.

  1. if your a sugar-holic probably facing 2months-1year

  2. if you eat a balanced meal, you wont get sugar cravings. for that you have to include carbs and protein in your diet. not eating any carbs will make you crave for sweets.

My dietician swears by Glutamine powder for reducing cravings and also improving nutrient absorption.

as you adopt  healthier eating, you will start shunning unhealthy stuff automatically as u start feeling the difference.

for low energy, I recommend a protein shake very strongly. it made a big diff to my energy levels!

  3. Your probably going to feel unwell. Doesn't sound like a good idea. Also high sugar, high fat, high GI, low nutrient diet is not good for your health.

  4. a month, maybe two or three

  5. Pretty sure it varies from person to person. I don't naturally like artificially sweetened things, so it takes about a week before I can let go of soda, chocolate, cakes as a whole. If you don't like fruit, you won't crave fruit, so don't expect that. But fruit is a better (not in sugar levels, though) alternatives than cupcakes. You're going to have to remember that fruits have calories and a whole lot of sugar in them, too.

  6. ages. i don't even try cause i love chocolate

  7. I would last two days... then i would need lettuce.

  8. I have given up sugar for since march and i was a massive sweet tooth.  I had really bad headaches and cravings and felt really cranky for 2 weeks.

I still get minor cravings and when i look at sweets i would still like to eat them but my self control/stubbornness has stopped me.

Good alternatives are fruit, dried fruit and yogurt, also there are jams that are only sweetened with natural fruit juices.
