Going on a trip california for the month of july by plane and WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

I am going to california in the month of july and i need to know what to pack. I will be in southern california mostly LA and anehiem. When there i will be going to Knotts berry farm and soak city. I have traveled by plane before. I will be going on a nonstop flight.The most common things to bring i already have:

Zune(like an i-pod)

book

camera

swimsuit

what else should i think of and what should i wear on the plane and by the way I am 13

lolz,i live in CA. trust me,its not going to get too hot, but sometimes it does,sobring light and heavy clothes. and yes,ive been to Knotts, and its awesome! have fun, btw... i live around knotts. cais very unexpecting, and in august, itll rain and january it will be hot... lolz. THE CALIFORNIA CONSPIRICY IS WRONG: its not hot all the time, only like once a month, and its NOT hot everywhere... EX: sierra mountains, san franciso, LA... and movie stars DONT live in your neighborhood.... beaches are all on the coast,\ ( there are even only a few there) , and yes, sometimes you WILL need a snow jacket,its that cold. in the morning, 99/100 days, it will be foggy and cold, sometimes staying like that all day, but sometimes getting to about 65- 75 degrees F.

cell phone if your parents allow you to have one

comfortable walking shoes and socks that will provide some cushioning

perhaps magazines in case you get tired of reading the book

Wear clothes you are comfortable in for the plane ride. I would pack a light jacket in the carry on in case you get cold on the plane.
