Going on cruise soon and was wondering what the party life is like?

  1. It depends on the cruise line. For example Princess Cruises tend to have an older crowd. Carnival has the reputation for being more of a "party cruise ship." It also depends on the time of year you go. For example, spring break tends to be a big party time on cruise ships because the crowd tends to be younger.

    It also depends on your destinations. For example , the Alaskan cruises might not have the party life you're thinking about, but the Bahama/Caribbean itineraries tend to have younger cruisers.

  2. I think it depends on the itinerary and the mixture of people on board. I went on a carnival cruise and nightlife was virtually non existent, while on royal caribbean the club was always packed. Both were Caribbean cruises, and had a good mixture of young people. I think Hawaiian and Alaskan cruises seem to have more of an older crowd.
