Has anyone else taken their baby on holiday around this age? What will I need to take? I'm going to Spain staying with family and they have got us a travel cot over there.

Do I need to take steriliser?

Can I take ready made bottles on plane?

I know I can take my buggie on plane but do you keep it with you in the airport or does it go straight away with your baggage?

If anyone has any info that would be helpful I appreciate it, Thanks.

  1. That's FAR to young to be bringing a young child away.

4 months old it's hard for 21 year olds to bare the heat.

  2. One can easily take a new born baby on holidays, but with proper planning..

If you are feeding the baby by yourself, its more than easy, on the other you can take the other available milk products...

It is better to take a bottle warmer with you and dont forget to take bottle brush...

many airlines do not allow ready made bottles, instead they can provide you hot water and you can easily make milk for the baby..

if you ask the airline that you have to carry your baby in the stroller until the plane, they can allow it and will take/ hand over it to you just near the plane while you will be boarding...

take care and have a nice holidays with the your kid!

  3. Its perfectly fine. I took my son when he was 2 months old and had no problems. You can take ready made bottles and the stroller and carseat you take with you when you go to get on the plane and you get a tag for them at the desk befor eyou get on the plane. down the walkway right before you get on the plane you drop off the stroller and carseat. Tell them its you first time traveling with a baby and im sure they will help you and tell you what to do. You can bring you diaper bag and a carry on because i guess the diaperbag just doesnt count lol

make sure when the plane is going up and coming down you give your shild something to suck on(bottle or pacifier) so that his/her ears pop if you dont do it your child may end up with and ear infection so its important for you to do that

  4. I would highly recommend you call the airline that you are going to be flying on and see what they allow on the plane. I have found that there can be differences among them.

  5. First time when I carried my little soul to meet his grandparents in Denmark I took with me baby ‘Logic bag’.  It is so handy and useful that you will only realise while in use.  Designed to fit your basic needs and lead a carefree travel.
