Going on vacation in Puerto Rico....?

Me and my mom are planning on going to Puerto Rico this summer. What are some good vacation spots, fun places to go, good hotels, ect. I was wanting to go on Hotwire.com, Expedia.com, ect. to see about how much it would cost, but we don't even know WHERE in Puerto Rico we want to go... haha. So anyone have any suggestions?

Look for hotels, inns, or guest houses in the following areas:  San Juan, Isla Verde, Condado,  and Ocean Park.  All these places are next to beaches, restaurants, hotels, casinos, etc.  Places to visit:

Old San Juan is a colonial town with excellent restaurants (fast foods also), museums, and  El Morro and Castillo San Cristobal (forts).  Don't miss El Yunque Rain Forest.  If you want to shopping visit Plaza Las Americas (Mall).

puerto rico is not horrible. its beautiful, nice crystal clear water in the beach, with white soft sand, great food and home of the pina colada drink. great hotels, cheap n very good jewelry and accessories, english as a second language (so the majority speak english) there is the origimal gilligan,s southwest of the island. dont miss going to the island of culebras and vieques in PR(its breath taking), safe for tourists and US dollars/no money exchange hastle. u may wanna go to old san juan el morro and near la fortaleza, the capital of PR, dont miss the beaches, and the biggest forest of PR, el yunque.

Check for hotels in Isla Verde / Condado area of san Juan

Several hotels overlook the beach

from here you can take a short taxi ride into Old San Juan (plenty to see and do in the walled city)
