Question:

Going organic in Miami?

In August I am moving to Miami. My boyfriend is already there, getting our living situation set up etc. When I move I want to switch us to as much organic as possible. Before I move I am going to buy lots of Wild Harvest items, which is all organic and is a brand from our local grocery store with prices very close to regular products. However, no stores in Miami carry this brand. Where is the best place to get organic items that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg in Miami? Or close, i dont mind driving a little extra if needed.

Also, I welcome any tips on making the switch. I am also interested in "green" cleaning products if you know of some good ones. Our local stores offers "Method" which is an all natural cleaning brand but its very pricey.

  1. Awww...have fun good luck on your move! I used to live down that way in an area called Pembroke Pines (Southwest Broward County), right on the county line of Miami-Dade & Broward Counties.

Try in Miami:  Delicious Organics - Fresh Organic Produce - in South Florida  Miami, FL (which could be up to 45min-1hr or more away, depending on which part of Miami you're moving to)

There is also a natural foods store in Pembroke Pines you can check with them: Nutrition S'mart - Natural Food Store     it is on Pines Blvd and Flamingo up the street from the Pembroke Mall & the same area as the Publix on THAT corner, I emphasize THAT b/c there is a Publix on EVERY corner there!)

Also if you're interested in maybe buying bulk (and shipping directly to your house) check:
