  1. If you like the older style pub rather than bar, the Rising Sun just off Deansgate is good, and the Beer House on Rochdale Road not far from victoria train station always has a great selection of real ales - and last time I was there, a free Juke box.  Nearer St Peters Square is The Peveril of the Peak and thats a good one as well.

Have a brill time whichever style you choose, Manchester caters for all different styles of drinkers.

  2. Depends what you like? If you want a classy night out you should try a few bars on Deansgate!  Living Room, Prohibition and Cocoa Room and Panacea are all cool places.  Check out getting on a guest list first by calling them beforehand.

    Manchester is fab!

  3. Hope this link helps. Manchester is a great night out by the way. Hope you have a good time!

  4. Prohibition & Living Room

  5. Some good places down Peter Street.

  6. Things have changed...

    The Beer House is closed

The Queens on Red Bank may as well be

The Fringe on Swan Street is pretty good,Belgian beer and 5 real ales, though thats closed for a private party on Saturday 19th nov

The Castle on Oldham Street is good for music and Robbies beer

I quite like common on Edge Street in the Northern Quarter too
