What is the difference between going out with someone or seeing someone are they both the same thing

Going out you are more committed, seeing you can go out with other people and are more free.

naa...seeing someone is when you just meet them (in a friend way)..

but if ur saying ur going out with sum1 it means u got a bf/gf relationship with them x

Well seeing someone is usually just an excuse for that person to be with you and still get with other people. Usually when you are seeing someone you don't really have feelings for them you just do stuff with them e.g s*x and stuff.

Going out is when you are actually in a relationship with feelings involved. If your lucky.

usually the difference is the same. it's the same thing, when you say am seeing someone it usually means you are going out with that person, as in, you know, dating the person, "in a relationship" with them. i think that's it.

Going with someone is like being married; similarly exclusive. Seeing people is dating, which is testing the waters to find someone you really have a lot in common with.

Actually, there's no real point in dating exclusively, because one of you is bound to fall out of love before the other and that someone always gets hurt!

i think it covers both, and it also covers the s*x part!!, meaning if u say, im going out/seeing someone, presumably you are also in a physical relationship with them. thats my thought entirely!!
