  1. In my opinion you should wait until your divorce is final cause if your start dating now your soon to be ex-wife could accuse you of cheating even if you didn't while the 2 of you were still together.

  2. its not to soon but just take your time to find someone.

  3. WOW! Already siging up for another broken relationship. Let me guess, you have bad credit, huh?

Just wait. Fix yourself and heal. What is the rush. You can have flings with no strings attached. Why do you need a woman or man by yourside? I mean come on...you are getting a divorce. Get a healthy support group. Geesh, give yourself a chance.

  4. They say the time to mourn a relationship properly is 1/2 the time you were in the relatinship.  So if your marriage plus the time you were dating was eight years you would want to wait around four years.  Personally, I think it depends on the situation and the reasons behind the divorce but be super careful not to rush into anything.

  5. It depends on how long you were married.  The longer you were married the longer you should wait.   You need to heal and give yourself time to know you.

  6. Look for someone when you feel as though you are ready.  The relationship is over why do you or anyone else feel the need to put their life on hold for etiquette.  Please!  If you are healed from this then move on.  If you are looking for a woman to dull the pain then you are headed for a fall.  The best place to meet a woman is almost everywhere other then a bar or club.  Good luck!

  7. Many people recommend not dating anyone until the divorce is final, lest you be penalized for adultery.  In my opinion, you're the only person that can answer the question of "when" for yourself.

As to the "where," list out your favorite activities and hobbies, be it golf, biking, historical reenactments, whatever.  Pursue those things and you're more likely to find a friend or romantic partner who shares hobbies you love.  (At the very least, you'll be taking part in activities that you enjoy doing anyway).  If you don't have a hobby, picking up partner dancing is a great way to keep/get in shape and meet the ladies.

Take it slow and good luck!
