Going through the army WO program 4 helicopter aviation or Military Police? 2 totally diff. MOS's I know

This question is on terms of which would be a better MOS for a prior service infantry soldier and his new family (wife and daughter- age 1 year)

I am 22. Please only answer if you have info on the 2. Also feels free for opinions about the 2. Thank you

I think i answered another one of your posts about moving your family with you to WOCS at rucker tonight as well. so i am guess you went that way, but ill answer this as well.

my husband was prior serivce (USMC). he switched to Army to fly helicopters because he wanted to fly and it was guaranteed as long as he doesnt flunk out. which right now he is top two in the class. so i dont see that happening.

anyways, i think the WOFT program is better. why? because you are a WO so, the pay is better. not to mention if you want to fly.

you need to decide do you want to be on the ground or air? either way they are both deployable jobs.

as for your family. we have a 8 month old. my husbands training right now is great. he is home a lot, doesnt work weekends, home for dinner and lunch. he works normal work hours. that will change once he gets into primary. then the hours are longer and you have to study your but off.

your wife has to realize it will be her doing the house and taking care of the baby.

i look at it this way. i spend as much time as possible right now with my husband. we are together all the time. i know i am going to have to  step up and be both mom and dad once primary hits. and i am ok with that. i know this is what my husband wants to do. it will be hard, because i will so want to tell him to get off his butt and do something. but i wont be able too.

so it takes commitment from both of you to help raise your child. but i guess it does anyways?!

my husband and i are both around 25 years old.

Aviation is the way to go its a harder mos but flying is very rewarding
