Going to Acapulco in 3 weeks.?

Question

What area of the bay should my gal and I stay at?

Anyone recommend an economical hotel in a good area?

Hotel Doria - no frills great staff , bed t.v. shower -$40 a night. Right in the middle ( Wal Mart , Hooters. Got a little hot plate/ grill one man cook thats friendly and good. KFC chicken and International coffee 25 yards away. Beach less than a mile and a pleasant walk. I have #'s if you want -  email me.

I suggest the El Cano hotel. It's just a wonderful one, you can see and hear the waves of the ocean under your balcony. The breakfast is great and you'll find everything you need just around.

There is a strip of hotels all along the same beach - Marriott, Hyatt, Holiday Inn, etc.  We stayed at the Holiday Inn because it was one of the most inexpensive.  It was okay - what you would expect from a Holiday Inn.  If I remember correctly, it was pretty much in the middle of the strip.  I did stay at the Marriott Stellaris Hotel (there's another Marriott downtown, so that's why I included the full name), also on the strip, and that was unbelievable.  There's an actual river and bridge in the lobby.  As you would expect, that one is a bit more pricey though.  Good luck!  Have fun...I loved Aruba!
