Going to Atlanta, GA for the first time...What should I do/see before leaving?...I have more details inside.?

A little about me...

*I'm a pretty well-rounded person

*I'll be 23

*Creole heritage

*I'm going at the beginning of April

*I'm into the hip/hop scene...music/dancing

*I'm from New Orleans area

*I love to try new restaurants

*I enjoy just going out and having a drink...or 2

*I'm into comedy/spoken word poetry type clubs as well.

*I am going to be there for 6 days 5 nights (Thurs-Tues)

*I want to go where the locals go...not just tourists

*I just want to have a great time...experience as much as I can before I leave, I'm going alone, but I'll be with my cousin who's 29. (I don't want just her opinion on where I should go and what I should do while I'm there)

Please give me as many different things/places as you can think of that I may enjoy.

Atlanta aquarium! its the best aquarium ive ever seen!! its amazing!

atlanta is a lot like charlotte

plenty of clubs, things to do

better to visit during football season

id say if you eat at a nice restraunt while your there

ask someone who works there where all the cool spots are at

tell them your in town for a week. i think i went to a mall that was underground there but that could have been washington dc i don't remember
