Going to Barcelona 7/25 - 8/1, need restaurant recommendations please?

We're staying near the Barri Gotic, and would love some recommendations on restuarants and suggestions on what to do and see.

Go to Le Cuatre Gats.. I think that's spelled right, it means the 4 cats in Catalan. It's where Picasso and many of his art friends hung out at the beginning of the 20th century.. and currently home to some great food. While in Barca, see Gaudi's buildings, Las Ramblas, Montjuic. There's much to do and see, have a great time.

If you are staying in the Barrio Gotico go to La Rambla where you can find a lot of restaurants. I will recommend La Poma (the Tomato) restaurant, a short walk from Plaza Cataluña. Another good place is the Restaurant on top floor of El Corte Ingles with panoramic views to the city.
