We are interested in going out and doing other things in addition to what's offered at our resort. Just wondering if anybody could suggest great things to do or places to eat. Thanks!!

  1. -The Gigglin Marlin is lots of fun- great for couples- they have food and then do some skits that are hilarious! then it turns into a dance party! I would say to try to get there for the skits- it's a good time.

-One of my favorites- if you like sushi- the best sushi i have ever had! It's right next door to the NoWhere Bar (I don't know the name of the restaurant) Very good!

-The pirate ship booze cruise was great! They put on a whole show and everything.

-Mango deck for happy hour 2 for1 beers (Cabo is expensive!!! so anywhere you can find a deal- find one!)

-Of course there is Squid Roe and Cabo Wabo- but they will be jammed pack and pretty much a meat market....so it's up to you. But we had a great time finding bars here and there and just walking around down the marina- there tons of places to have your own fun!

oh yea- Pepe's has great tacos that are pretty cheap!

    Have fun!

  2. Hola!  I'll be honest, it is hard to anwer your question without knowing where you are staying....but here is my general info answer.

There are tons of great restaurants in the Los Cabos area, anything from Brazilian to Japanese.  You can hit somewhere new each night without being disappointed.  If you are into trying some authentic mexican, then I recommend you eat at the taco stands or the luncheras.  They will serve you corn tortillas with their speciality meat, and you then doctor it up with your favorite condiments and they are so delicious...and cheap.  The more locals you see eating there, the better it is!  The favorite for the baja are the "fish tacos"...what they reallly are is deep fried jumbo shrimp, with shredded cabbage and really delicious sauce, and wrapped in a corn tortilla.  Fresh and really great.  You can also have a cup of seafood (cerviche) that has been marinated in a spicy tomato sauce and then they also have fresh tropical fruit salads, or a mango on a stick with lime, or even some of the best helados (ice cream) from the streets.

I would recommend taking a stroll on the marina malecon, and checking out all the sightseeing.  There is shopping, there are tons of activities to take part in (boat cruises, snorkeling, kayaking, parasailing, glass bottom boats..ATVing, 4x4ing, etc. Not to mention the non-stop party on Medano Beach, closest beach to town.

We don't really have any mayan ruins or anything like that, but some people enjoy the glass factory, or going and swimming with the dolphins, or RIGHT NOW you can actually walk through the arch at low tide.  A bullfight is also possible.  Others enjoy a round of golf or a dinner cruise around the harbour (cabo rey is the best).

Of course, all the nightclubs are a popular thing.  Like the answerer above, the Gigglin Marlin is the best for a "dinner/dance show"  very entertaining, especially if you end up getting involved.  You can be hung upside down to do a tequila shot.  Also worth mentioning the bumping and grinding at El Squid Roe and Cabo Wabo are worth a night out.

There is a 8/10 chance that you will find yourself in a resort OUTSIDE of Cabo...most resorts are located on the corridor or in San Jose del Cabo which is about 20 minutes out.

  3. First of all, congratulations for your marriage.

Cabo is a great place to enjoy your honeymoon.

What is mandatory is going out on a boat to see the Arch and take a picture together. I will recommend you a sailboat, because is less crowded and better service, off course is a little more money, but your honeymoon is only once.

Many restaurants to try them all, all are excellent, all depends in what kind of food you feel like. The hotel concierge can give you good recommendations and make you reservations.

I personally recommend you in Cabo San Lucas: Mi Casa (authentically Mexican cousin), Edith's and Peacock's (I got married here).

In San Jose del Cabo: Mi Cocina, Morgan's and El Meson del Angel.

But really, there are many many more excellent restaurants, check my web site for more.

Rent a car if you feel exploring the area and go to pristine beaches away from the crowd.

Or just relax in the resort and pamper yourself with a massage.

    Enjoy Cabo
