  1. Try some of the sites on this page.

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=w...

  2. Are you going to Torquay (Devon) or Cornwall? I wouldn't try to do both on the same holiday, there is enough to do in both places to keep you occupied for weeks.

Torbay (Torquay, Paignton, Brixham) beaches, Kent's Cavern (prehistoric caves), the Model Village at Babbacombe, Paignton Zoo, the Paignton Steam Railway. You can also do pleasure boat rides or go to the theatre.

In Cornwall, there are beaches, ancient castles, Heligan Gardens, the Eden Project, theme parks, a seal sanctuary. Not all these are in the same area of Cornwall, it would depend where you are going.

For either area, go to local tourist offices, raid the holiday brochure racks in shops, and look in the local papers for "what's on".

  3. Torquay isn't in Cornwall it's in Devon!

Today in Cornwall the weather is really bad so you'll have to go to an indoor place.

You could go to the Eden Project which is mostly indoors and very popular with tourists. You should go to the nearest tourists information, supermarket, holiday or theme park and pick up some leaflets. There is loads to do in Cornwall it depends your time of personality on what you like!

  4. I thought Torquay was in Devon not Cornwall.

  5. you'll need to cross the Tamar to come into cornwall. dont forget your passport!!

Judging by the weather forecast you may want to include a trip to Eden project to shelter from the rain.

You didnt say what kind of things you like, but there is a wealth of interesting things to see/do in cornwall (and torquay too! - try Woodlands) for all ages/abilities.

In cornwall try a canoe expedition in Fowey - great fun!

  6. Torquay is in England I'm afraid. For Cornwall you'll need to use the Tamar bridge or the torpoint Ferry from the A38.

You need to elucidate on what types of thing you're after.

Cornwal is best known for it's Celtic history and sub-tropical gardens on one side and on the other it's extreme sports and most specificaly surfing.

The north and west coasts are the most gorgeous and you will find plenty of towns around there with pubs and gig venues.

Depends what you're into and what kind of person you are really.

Don't confuse English towns with Cornish ones though otherwise you'll get very very lost!!
