Going on a cruise and stopping in Curacao, which shore excursion is the best for beaches?

You could also check out the "Ports of Call" board for Curacao at CruiseCritic.com - click on "Boards" at the top of the page.

Porto Marie is supposed to be one of the prettiest beaches in Curacao and also has facilities.  However, it is less-accessible in that it will cost $40 for a cab out there and then $40 back.  That's not bad if you have four people to split the cost.

When we were there, we went to Jan Thiel beach.  We liked it fine.
